Recreational Gymnastics Manager KilmarnockPay rate: £10.50 – £12 per hour, dependent on experienceApproximately 12 hours per week (from 4pm onwards during weekdays; and weekends at any time)Are you passionate about gymnastics and enthusiastic about sharing your skills and knowledge with others? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Coach to join the team at Kilmarnock Acrobatic Gymnastics Club (KAGC)Responsibilities:- Implement effective training programs tailored to the age, skill level, and goals of gymnasts.- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions, focusing on skill development, technique, and safety- Inspire and motivate gymnasts to reach their full potential and develop a love for the sport.- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to athletes, helping them overcome challenges and improve their performance.- Ensure a safe training environment by adhering to all health and safety guidelines.- Organise, manage, and feedback on coach audits and observations.- Provide guidance, mentoring and direction to all staff and coaches.- Support and advice on class requirements, any foreseen gaps and coach shortages, ensuring classes are adequately covered by the right team members.Qualifications and Skills:- Proven experience as a Gymnastics Coach, preferably working with athletes of various ages and skill levels.- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, training methods, and progressions.- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate gymnasts.- Ability to adapt coaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and individual needs.- Demonstrated passion for promoting physical fitness, well-being, and sportsmanship.- Relevant certifications – British gymnastics level 2 coaching certificate is requiredWhy Join Us:- Opportunity to work with a dynamic team of gymnastics professionals in a well-established facility.- Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.- Professional development opportunities to enhance your coaching skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.- Chance to positively impact the lives of aspiring gymnasts and help them achieve their goals.- Vibrant and inclusive work environment that values collaboration, growth, and mutual support.To apply, please submit your CV outlining your relevant experience and why you are passionate about coaching gymnastics.
