Programme Manager – Construction – Inchinnan Location: Inchinnan, Glasgow Salary: Up to £47,492 Hours: Monday to Friday (Office Hours) Type: Permanent Imperial Professionals are currently recruiting exclusively for a national Training Provider who are looking to appoint a Programme Manager in Construction Duties: Provide leadership of curriculum teams and operational management of the curriculum area including the monitoring of quality and performance management where necessary. Support the Curriculum Manager with the planning and efficient delivery of Apprenticeship and Commercial curriculum programmes at all NCC Colleges in line with the various awarding bodies criteria. Support and manage the implementation of improvements to quality within curriculum delivery. Ensure that curriculum delivery is in line with the teaching and learning assessment strategy. Work with the Curriculum Manager to prepare the team for internal and external inspections including the implementation of the requirements from the SAR and QuiP and ensuring learner surveys are completed in a timely manner, along with monitoring and implementing change from the feedback. Course Development and Monitoring Progress. Develop and allocate resources to ensure ongoing development of programmes and materials including, schemes of work, progress tracking of KSB s for apprentices and producing timetables. To ensure the curriculum area is fully compliant with the College s Health and Safety policies and procedures, including safeguarding learners. Establish and implement effective links with employers to ensure the curriculum offer meets the needs of the specific sector of the industry. Support the Curriculum Managers to develop and implement new curriculum opportunities as appropriate to meet the future needs of the industry and the company business plan. The College may, in consultation with you, need to vary these duties from time to time to respond to the changing requirements of the College. Such other duties will be commensurate with your skills, knowledge, and experience. Requirements Essential: Extensive experience of the relative occupational area or a similar programme manager role in a construction trade. Qualified to a minimum level 3 or equivalent, in a construction (civil engineering) related trade. Must hold or be prepared to obtain a teaching qualification at level 5 Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) or willing to work towards it. SMSTS Certificate or be willing to obtain one. Ability to lead and motivate staff. Suitable level of proficiency in ICT and understanding of its application to Teaching, Learning and Assessment. Evidence of continuous professional development. Clear, confident, communicator at all levels of the organisation Must be prepared to work towards a formal leadership and management qualification Extensive knowledge of Current Legislation and relevant awarding bodies qualifications.
