Brigg Scientific are currently looking to recruit a contract Laboratory Technician for a well known beverage company based in East Lothian. An entry-level support role the successful candidate will be responsible for QC/QA duties across routine laboratory and production line activities.

Duties will include:

• Physical testing – product colour
• Analytical – alcohol content and specific gravity
• Routine instrument calibration
• Record keeping
• Microbiology – depending on experience
• Working to established SOPs

The successful candidate will ideally have some practical laboratory experience, be a quick learner and flexible to the priorities of the business. Full training will be provided as you work accurately within a regulated environment.

This initial full-time 3-4 week contract role commands a competitive hourly rate of £12.32 per hour and may be extended. The role provides an ideal opportunity to accrue practical laboratory experience in an industrial setting.
