Halcyon Care (Highland and Grampian) Ltd are working with a variety of care providers across Inverness, Moray and Aberdeen and surrounding areas who are looking for support workers to help support adults with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs in their own homes, residential settings, care homes and supported living services. If you have experience working in the social care sector, then we can provide you with your next opportunity where you can grow your skills and knowledge in the sector. We offer either part-time or full-time hours on a flexible basis in a variety of different services.

We are currently looking for reliable and compassionate support workers to work with multiple services across Highland and Grampian (Inverness, Moray, and Aberdeen) that help adults and children in the following settings:
- Mental Health
- Complex Needs
- Learning Disabilities
- Substance Misuse
- Homelessness
- Care homes
- Private home
- Residential settings
Being a support worker, you will be making a difference every day by helping people to live their lives to the fullest, regardless of their situation or ability. To be able to join the Halcyon team, then you ideally will have the following qualities:
- Minimum of 6 months UK based experience
- Right to work in the UK
- Passionate about being a Support worker.

In return for your full commitment to the role as a support worker with Halcyon, you will receive an hourly pay rate between £11.30 – £13.00 depending on experience. On top of this you will receive £1.32 per hour as holiday pay. We are committed to look to place you into services as local as possible and therefore welcome applications from drivers and non-drivers.

We are looking for support workers who have a minimum of 6 months experience in supported care work, satisfactory evidence of right to work in the UK and a good sense of professionalism and reliability. If this is you, then we would love to hear from you! You will help to organise and participate in activities, and you ll support a range of life skills. You will be comfortable with lone working during a typical shift. An understanding and/or experience of autism and recognised qualifications such as SVQ 2/3 are preferred for this role, although not essential, as Halcyon Care will Put you through the SVQ2/3.
