Fundraiser Do you have experience of fundraising or generating income in a sales or marketing role? Do you have great relationship building skills? We have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising and Development Officer to generate income and develop relationships with partners and supporters in this flexible, hybrid-working role. Don t worry if you do not have fundraising experience we still want to hear from you if you have suitable transferable skills! Position: Fundraising and Development Officer Location: Remote Hours: Part-time, 32 hours per week (flexible working over a shorter week available and less hours considered) Salary: £28,000 – £30,000, pro-rata Duration: Permanent Closing Date: 7th November 2023 The Role Fundraising and Development Officer, you will be responsible for developing relationships with partners and supporters and generating income. The role offers the opportunity to help shape strategy, lead on exciting projects and build an impressive track record across income generation, stakeholder development and event management. This is a remote working role, where there is an expectation to be in the Edinburgh office at least twice a month. About You Ideally, you will have experience of fundraising in any of the following income streams: Trusts, Major Donors, Community Fundraising or Corporate but if not, we still want to hear from you if you have suitable transferable skills! These can include experience of generating income in areas such as partnerships, sponsorship or membership services, marketing or B2B corporate sales. As long as you have had success in securing income or revenue through a diverse range of activities with excellent relationship building skills and the ability to interact with external partners, this could be the role for you! You will be asked to provide a CV and a short Cover Letter detailing your experience. About the Organisation The charity exists to promote Scottish dancing globally as a fun, friendly, inclusive and healthy activity, which can be enjoyed by anyone, anywhere. It was founded in 1923 and has around 10,000 members worldwide. The Society is governed by an elected Board, which is supported by three Committees. Day to day management of the Society is delegated to the Chief Operating Officer, who leads a small team of 5 in the Edinburgh office.
