We are recruiting for an experienced Advertising Sales Consultant to join a successful publishing company based in central Edinburgh. Monday Thursday 9am-5.30pm, Friday 9am 5pm. Office based. Selling of magazine, supplement, wall planners, product guide, digital sales, podcasts, eshot etc. Maintain and develop established customer and prospect database. Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed budgets Manage personal time and productivity. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods Internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction. Use and update relevant information on CRM system. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide reports. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships. Attend and present at external conferences within the UK Attend training to develop knowledge, techniques and skills. Ensure that magazine page plans are completed accurately for production on time along with Editorial Coordinator Advertising sales experience essential Good communicator with excellent people skills Strong Microsoft Office skills and working knowledge of CRM systems essential Driven with willingness to learn and evolve with the role Good organisational and time management skills
