Laptop Refurbishment Technician Our client is one of the UK s leading IT refurbishment companies helping hundreds of businesses, schools and public sector organisations across the UK. The company is now looking for new Laptop Refurbishment Technicians to join their team on a full time basis. Key responsibilities include; Testing Desktops, laptops and monitors which includes visual inspections, functionality testing and stress testing Quality grading desktops, laptops and monitors against our pre-defined quality standards Identifying and fixing units with problems Stripping down and rebuilding laptops Testing components including SSDs, hard drives and RAM Updating and mounting Windows images to our units Building units to specification for customer orders Final checking units for order This is a great opportunity to become part of an amazing team so if you are passionate about getting hands on with IT hardware and enjoy solving technical problems then this could be the role for you. Ideally you will have IT hardware skills and a good understanding of technology, be a good team player but also able to work on your own initiative. The role demands a keen eye for detail, diligence and being organised with good time keeping. If you enjoy solving technical problems there are always new challenges in this role. If you are fit and active, you will enjoy the lifting and carrying the job involves. Salary for the role is £21,000 + £24,500 (DOE).
