Role: Infrastructure Engineer Length: Initial 6-month engagement – with a view to extend Location: Hybrid / East Kilbride IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Pay Rate: £650 – £700 per day – Active SC is required One of my public sector clients are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. They are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer to join them on a hybrid basis in their offices based in East Kilbride 2 days per week. This engagement will run on for an initial 6-month contract- this does have a view to extend beyond this date. They are interested in Infrastructure Engineers with experience of working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams. Past experience of working within the public sector would be ideal, although this is not essential. Essential Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities. Experience of managing an enterprise VMware Estate (administering, installing and configuring VCA & ESXi 6.x and 7.x) Strong experience with Microsoft Server family, Active Directory, Group Policy and ADFS. Strong PowerShell skills based around AD and automation. Windows Server (Apply online only) deployment, configuration and migration. Multi Domain/Forest Design and Administration. Ability to develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and scenario playbooks. Experience of managing and maintaining server hardware Experience of backup and recovery solutions Understanding of networking fundamentals (I.e. firewall rules, routing, VLANs,TCPIP, DNS).Are you interested in this position?
