JOB TITLE: SAP Security IDM Consultant

SALARY: £66,861-£74,290 per annum

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh

HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours

WORKING PATTERN:

Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

Come join our Security and Controls feature team, to combine your technical expertise, passion for designing innovative security solutions and your continuous improvement mindset, to support our customers in managing their business cash-flow efficiently and securely!

This great opportunity has arisen within the Security and Controls feature team as a Software Engineer (SAP IDM SME) in the Gem & Payment Direct Channels Lab. You’ll collaborate with Product and other Engineering teams, driving efforts to create, build, support and improve our system’s security. As a software engineer within the Lab, you’ll champion quality Engineering practices that align with our wider architectural strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. You will be performing all SAP IDM and SAP Security tasks and strategies including:

  • Connecting SAP IDM to SAP and non-SAP systems, AD based systems and Database.

  • Configuring repositories for different SAP and non-SAP applications.

  • Setting and monitoring IDM jobs.

  • Performing SAP IDM tasks-user management, business and process workflows, managing identity stores.

  • Designing, building, and implementing SAP Security & Authorisation solutions.

  • Administrating and shaping user management and role administration related to different modules for e.g. SAP IDM, SAP ECC, PI, SOLMAN, SAP HANA, SAP BI.

2. You will be carrying out and shaping IAM and Data Protection policies and tasks, including:

  • Developing security policies, procedures and understanding of Data protection regulation and data life cycle management.

  • Managing access control and segregation of duties.

3. You will out your Communication and interpersonal Skills into good use, including:

  • Develop effective working relationships with partners and be the demonstrate strong ethics, trustworthiness, and personal organisation.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

We like people who come from backgrounds that can bring new and challenging ways of thinking to the team. As minimum to be considered for this position however, you would need to demonstrate:

Key Skills:

  • Previous working experience in SAP IDM and SAP Security.

  • Previous experience in writing and carrying out Data protection policies and IAM

  • Excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement and curiosity mindset

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • SAP Banking Application knowledge, e.g. Banking Services, Payments Engine

  • Payments Domain knowledge and experience

  • Experience in SAP GRC would be a plus.
