Job Description
Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to their team on a permanent basis. You will be based in the Dundee area.
Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible start and finish times)
Salary: £48K – £64K
Daily Duties –
- Design, develop and test embedded microprocessor and microcontroller-based PCB assemblies
- Digital and Analogue electronics design
- Regular progress reporting on schedule, quality, and size of change
- Soldering proficiency with SMT components
- Create test specifications and reports
- Lead team and mentoring Junior Engineers
Candidate Requirements –
- Degree qualified
- 10 years’ experience developing MCU based products e.g. control systems, office machine, medical devices, and various other embedded systems
- Previous experience with embedded microprocessors and microcontrollers PCB assemblies
- Can lead a team to develop products and deliver within time and budget constraints
- Driving Licence
