Job Title: Business Analyst – Permanent – Location: GlasgowJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our client’s Digital team in Glasgow. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide business analysis services to support the continuous improvement of our processes and systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business process mapping and analysis, with the ability to evaluate and re-engineer/automate processes to increase efficiency. Additionally, the Business Analyst will oversee the implementation of new technology to enhance our business operations.Any experience with SQL or Databases would be beneficial. This is a permanent position and hybrid working based in Glasgow. Key Duties and Responsibilities:1. Conduct business process mapping and analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.2. Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.4. Develop and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of process improvements and system enhancements.6. Identify opportunities for automation and develop strategies to streamline manual processes.7. Conduct cost-benefit analysis to assess the feasibility and potential impact of proposed process changes.8. Collaborate with IT teams to oversee the implementation of new technology solutions.9. Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and systems.10. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and make adjustments as necessary.11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and process improvement.Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in business process mapping and analysis techniques.Experience with process re-engineering and automation.Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis software.Experience with SQL or Databases would be beneficial
