Job Description
I am recruiting for a Stem Cell Muscle Differentiation Senior Scientist for an Edinburgh based Biotechnology company. As a Stem Cell Muscle Differentiation Senior Scientist you will be involved in the research and development of stem cells to produce stem cell derived muscle cells.
The successful candidate will have experience in:
- A PhD or MSc/BSc with relevant experience
- Working with adherent and/or suspension mammalian cell culture and media development
- Characterising and archiving stem cell lines
Would be advantageous:
- Experience of in vitro muscle differentiation protocols from iPSC and/or ESCs
- Industry experience of working to GMP and relevant ISO standards
- Experience in molecular biology and protein expression
