Job Description
I am recruiting for a Stem Cell Process Development Senior Scientist for an Edinburgh based Biotechnology company. As a Stem Cell Process Development Senior Scientist you will be involved in mammalian cell culture in bioreactors, scale up of stem cells and working as part of the innovation and commercially facing teams to develop and implement solutions for the bioprocessing of various cell lines.
The successful candidate will have experience in:
- PhD in Bioprocessing, Biotechnology or Bioengineering
- Working with benchtop bioreactors (up to 5L), bioprocessing and stem cells
- Experience with mammalian cell culture, operating and optimising bioreactors
Would be advantageous:
- Experience working to GMP and ISO standards
- Working with iPSCs and/or ESCs
