Our unique Edinburgh based client have newly created permanent Lead Electronics Product Test Engineer. They are looking for the individual to have already developed custom mixed signal, high volume production test solutions.
This is a stand-alone role – you need to be a self-starter, someone that can own/lead this area. They are looking for someone who has had responsibility for looking after a small team or have the ability to influence other engineers – they don’t have anyone in the company that does this role currently so they need experience, skills and drive. In the first instance, and at least the short/middle term you will not have a team to run. You will have sole responsibility to deliver the engineering solutions and then hire your team in due course.
Experience required but not limited to:
- High Volume Production Test Engineering (Mass production)
- Mixed signal, Semiconductor, ASIC, IC, wafer sort, probe test, ATE, IC test
- LabView/NI, Teradyne, SPEA, Seiko Epson, Advantest or similar
- Device handling solutions including custom fixture development for non-standard device form factor
- Yield management, Statistical Process Control
- Product engineering
- Load board, Socket, PCB design
- Test Time Optimisation
- Scan vectors
