Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to oversee and maintain our Supplier Quality Audits Program. The key responsibilities of this role, include:
- Ensuring all of our 300+ European suppliers are audited on a 1-5 year frequency
- Oversee training and accreditation of all 60+ internal auditors
- Onboard new suppliers into the audit program
- Follow up on past audits to ensure all audits are closed out and mitigations are completed.
- Launch improve programs to continue the evolution of the audit program.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure supplier quality audits remain a priority of the business throughout the year and all audits are completed on time.
- Update and embed the supplier onboarding program as it pertains to new suppliers.
Capabilities, Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality, food science, packaging or related field, with experience in the following areas:
- People Management
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Clear and Open Communication
- Knowledge of Food Safety systems and supply chain
- Ability to influence and escalate to ensure supplier quality audits are happening in a timely fashion.
- Develop an audit program that stands up to external scrutiny of a food safety audit.
- Experience of leading in a regional, international or global environment
