Join an industry leader in Battery Management Systems – Edinburgh, Hybrid Working Model
Actively seeking a Firmware Engineer for a leading technology company based in Edinburgh, where you will have the opportunity to join a highly proficient software team developing innovative solutions in a market that will see enormous growth over the next 10-15 years.
The successful Firmware Engineer will ideally bring experience of developing low-level Firmware which interfaces with low level electronic peripherals. This team are currently looking for more than one Firmware Engineer, so please if you have experience in low-level embedded development and are seeking a new opportunity, please do apply now!
Skill Set:
– You will have commercial expertise in Embedded C development
– You will have experience with bare metal software development
– Ideally, you will have experience in developing drivers for low level communications interfaces (SPI, UART, I2C)
– Any experience with BMS (battery management systems) or EVs (Electric Vehicles) will be advantageous
Please note, this company are based in Edinburgh but they are able to offer mostly remote work with occasional onsite visits required – roughly once a month! Before applying, please ensure you can commit to travelling to Edinburgh as and when required!
