Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Export & Import Specialist for an initial 12 month contract.

Candidates will be responsible for providing guidance to the business on export and import activities and assist in the management of all aspects of UK export/import and US regulatory requirements relating to day-to-day activities.

Candidates will have proven experience of;

  • UK Export Licensing Regulations and shipping procedures
  • Awareness of International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Experience in Open General Export Licences (OGELs) and Standard Individual Export Licences (SIELs)
  • Understanding of the UK Customs Import and Export systems and export licensing system.
  • Knowledge of commodity coding and tariff classification.
  • Knowledge of duty deferment processes and procedures
  • Defining policies and procedures in a compliance driven environment

Day rate: £350 p/day (via an FCSA registered umbrella)

Duration: 12 months

Location: Hybrid
