HR Advisor

The Bush Estate, Midlothian

£32,000 – £36,000 + Benefits

Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be partnering exclusively with our client based locally to our team at The Bush Estate, to hire a brand new HR Advisor in this newly created role as our client grows their brand.

Reporting directly into the CEO and working with the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, this is a rare hands on opportunity for a HR professional who wants to be part of something that is growing and have the opportunity to make this role your own.

You will have the support, from our clients HR Consultancy who are supporting them in the interim to support yourself should you require it and we are totally biased but they are an awesome team of individuals.

What will this role involve?

  • Implementation and setting up the internal CRM system for the HR function
  • Being the superuser of the system and training the team along with looking at system improvements
  • Streamline and implement processes, policies and procedures
  • Accountability over HR Strategic Plan (2023/24) by taking initiative to implement systemic and procedural improvements
  • Supporting managers in playing a more active role in managing their direct staff
  • Develop the performance improvement management process
  • Support with HR administration
  • Recruitment and on-boarding
  • Presenting and working closely with the CEO and board
  • Supporting the CEO with ad hoc EA related duties as and when required.

What are we looking to see from you?

  • CIPD Level 3 or higher
  • Have proven experience in conducting the above duties and be confident in working standalone with support externally when required
  • Great communicator who can work well with those at CEO level and Executive Leadership
  • Be able to work at pace and deal with change in a growing business
  • Commute to the office, this is a hybrid role however you will be required to attend meetings on site when required also.

The Offer?

Starting salary depending on experience £32,000 – £36,000 with great benefits available.
