Pay: £14.50 (dayshift) £19.33 (nightshift)Location: BroxburnHours: 37 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 17:00 (Dayshift) or Monday to Thursday 21:15 – 07:00 (Nightshift)Contract: Temp to permMust have time served apprenticeship in any mechanical disciplineMust have machining skills using manual horizontal/ vertical borers.Main Responsibilities:Ensure all quality procedures are followed as detailedEnsure product is manufactured or finished to the correct specificationEnsure specification changes are highlighted and passed for amendmentCommunicate all production problems to Team Leader / Assistant Production ManagerEnsure all product identification is completeCarry out machine changeovers in conjunction with workload requirements and production targetsComply with Company Housekeeping standardsWork through and resolve process running faults, escalating as requiredResponsible for complying with Health & Safety procedures.Output targets to exceed 80% efficiencyRejects minimised aiming towards 0%Customer complaints minimised aiming towards 0%Machine breakdowns are avoided and minimised by ensuring correct machine set upDocumentation is legible and accurateRecurring manufacturing problems are reducedPut forward constructive comments and ideasIf you are interested apply today with your up-to-date CV or get in contact with John via: or on
