Here in Consumer Business we have been hiring Returners since 2020 (we are currently on the shortlist for this year’s Women in Banking Finance Awards for “Best Returners Programme”) and we hugely value the experience, drive and motivation they bring to our organisation. We’re looking for curious and innovative Quality Engineers to join us in delivering a leading customer experience. If unpicking and fixing problems is your nature, we’d love to hear from you.

We understand that you may not have every single bullet point that we’re looking for – and that’s fine! As an example, if you have previously worked in Engineering, or you have recently completed relevant Bootcamps/qualifications/upskilling – then this could be the role for you.

What we’re looking for experience-wise:

• Good Quality Engineering and testing experience across the entire test lifecycle including user acceptance testing, test data management and an understanding of digital applications and environments
• A person who works collaboratively across teams and communities
• Preferably has exposure to Jira, Confluence, Accessibility tooling and experience of Feature Team Agile/Scrum ways of working.
• Would be ideal if they have experience in coding and automation

We’ve embraced hybrid working and flex between working from home and the Manchester, West Yorkshire, Birmingham, Bristol & Edinburgh office hub(s). And while we can’t accommodate every flexible working request, we’re happy to have a conversation about what hours might work for you. Please be aware that we’re currently asking our colleagues to work from the office at least 40% of their time. At this time, we are not looking for Returners based in London.
