Early Careers Advisor 3 month contract Edinburgh (hybrid role) £13.56/hr PAYE + holidays We are looking for a HR professional with a strong administration background to join one of our leading defence clients in Edinburgh. As an Early Careers Advisor, you will be handling queries raised by our 101 apprentices starting this year. You will be the point of contact between the admin team and the business partner. Role Responsibilities • Dealing with early careers issues, including pastoral care and enquiries. Delivery of Apprentices quarterly reviews, and support around placement plans • Work closely with Training Providers to monitor and deliver attendance, progress, performance and assessment of Apprentices on programme, providing coaching and development on a one to one basis, ensuring protected learning is in place • Support business planning activities including establishing new trainee pipelines and Early Careers recruitment by attending recruitment events, undertaking candidate assessment and interviews, delivering Apprentice onboarding and induction • Support enrichment activities, Early Careers-related events and awards • Support the UK Apprentice Manager in delivering remuneration reviews and DAS/SDS input Typical Knowledge, Skills and Qualification Requirements • Strong Administration skills • Learning and Development/Early Careers background is desirable • Knowledge of HR administration is desirable • Ability to work at a fast pace • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communications skills • Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude • Strong attention to detail • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload • Personal credibility and professional confidence • Ability to build excellent relationships • Minimum 4 GCSE’s at Grade C or above including Mathematics and English Morson is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
