In this role you will be assisting the Vice Principle of Global Discovery in the identification, analysis, implementation and tracking of process, procedure, and systems improvements across Global Discovery sites, including optimisation, alignment and harmonisation, systems implementation, quality control, resource and process management and scheduling. What You’ll Be Doing Identification, development and optimisation of common procedures, and processes across sites, including harmonisation / alignment and simplification of (Standard Operating) Procedures. Responsible for achieving financial goals set out as a part of the Global Discovery budgeting. Process as it pertains to cost savings and productivity. Single point of contact for PMO pipeline generation, communications and status reports for Global Discovery. Responsible for insuring visibility of Global Discovery efforts and supporting adoption of those efforts as appropriate. Focal point for resource selection and allocation to projects and initiatives. Works closely together with the Global Discovery Leadership Team to ensure visibility, support and compliance with prioritised efforts. Ensures adoption of best practice and sustainability of the changes through post rollout follow-ups. Drive efficiency and productivity efforts through inter-site comparison of performance metrics, organisational structures and processes. Work closely with the PMO, Procurement, Facilities and other groups to facilitate inter-site and inter-departmental communications and processes. Serve as management liaison for multi-site operational initiatives. Skills and Experience Significant experience working in a CRO setting. Preferably educated to Masters level within a related discipline Experience in dealing with clients on a one-to-one basis. Fluency in English. Ability to achieve goals through influence, in absence of direct line management responsibility. Experience working within a highly matrixed management structure on a global scale. Able to use positive influencing skills to drive change and improvement within peer groups efficiently. Proven experience in leading global continuous improvement and / or change management initiatives. Communication and presentation skills across different platforms.
