Job Description
The Technician will be responsible for carrying out vehicle repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s procedures within standard times set. Qualified HGV Technician Duties will include: Vehicle inspection General servicing Fault diagnosis Repair of vehicle defects Road test vehicles MOT preparation/presentation. Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty required. Completion of all required paperwork accurately The successful candidate will: Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three of equivalent). Have previous relevant experience gained in a similar industry. Have a full driving licence. Ideally possess a commercial licence – class 1 or 2 but not essential. Have the ability to work in a fast paced working environment. Be competent in the use of IT systems. Have a flexible approach to work commitments.
