Role: Graphic Designer REF 73295 Contract Length: 6 months initial contract Location: Remote with occasional visits to East Kilbride as required IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate Security Clearance: SC and Sole UK National requested Spinwell is recruiting for a Graphic Designer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE GRAPHIC DESIGNER Produce high quality and engaging graphics, illustrations, videos and motion graphics that are on-brand and audience-focused for use across our channels, constantly looking for opportunities to improve. Create new design templates and illustrations as required, ensuring accessibility standards are met. Collaborate with colleagues across the Communications Department and wider organisation to advise on creative solutions. Supported by the Content Manager, manage own workflow and take ownership for briefs and projects. Translate complex data and information into appealing, easy-to-understand infographics for use across digital channels, including the website and social media. Although we take a digital-by-default approach wherever possible, printed products are still required on occasion meaning the post-holder will be required to produce print content and ensure artwork is print ready. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE GRAPHIC DESIGNER A working knowledge of graphics industry-standard software, with a high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience creating high quality digital assets such as infographics, whitepapers, brochures and leaflets. Experience of applying corporate identity guidelines and ensuring their consistent application. Experience of implementing and advocating for an accessible and inclusive approach to creating digital assets. Time-management and prioritisation skills, including the ability to maintain creativity and proactivity alongside organising and delivering a demanding workload. Experience of translating complex information into appealing and easy-to-understand creative assets.
