Job Description
Our client is looking for Maintenance Electricians in the Glasgow/Greenock area.
Shifts: 8-hour shift. Morning, back and night.
Salary: £41,800 + 10% pension scheme.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Team Leader to ensure timely delivery, reduce breakdown times and work on continuous improvement, while maintaining compliance with all mandatory safety checks and tests.
- Perform hands-on maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery.
- Strive to become the designated authority for HV and LV systems (Electrical Role).
- Record work details and input data into the SAP (EAM) computerised maintenance management system.
- Propose strategic decisions to the Engineering Team Leader/Manager to maintain the schedule.
- Show dedication to multi-skilled activities where suitable.
About you:
- Heavy plant and machinery experience in a heavy industrial environment.
- Experience working under safety frameworks.
- Experience of fault-finding.
- Be willing to work at heights.
- Willing to commute between sites in the local area.
