Carbon and Sustainability Manager Finance and Estates Permanent, Full time Starting salary: £41,964 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a Carbon and Sustainability Manager to join RCS – this is a new role which will drive forward the Conservatoire’s environment and sustainability agenda and play a leading role in navigating our journey to carbon net zero.
You will: be the institutional expert and will work with all members of the RCS community to engage in all aspects of climate change mitigation, and environmental sustainability – including energy efficiency, carbon reduction, waste reduction, travel and procurement. You will develop the RCS strategy, objectives and tactical requirements to drive sustainability and carbon management improvements, and develop, implement and maintain management information on sustainability performance.
You must have: demonstrable relevant experience in an environment and sustainability focussed role, with knowledge an experience of energy and carbon reduction strategies. Experience of engaging and collaborating with stakeholders in essential.
