Howdens Joinery is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Regional Learning Partner for Scotland & Ireland. Working with the Regional Leadership teams and HR Business Partners to deliver a high standard of our Learning and development service across Howdens. In regard to location, we would ideally like you to be based around Edinburgh/Glasgow. What will I be doing as a Regional Learning Partner: Ensuring every employee feels engaged in the learning and development offer at Howdens and has the knowledge, skills, and support to be safe, legally compliant, and competent in their role Primarily working across the assigned business area with responsible for the planning and delivery of training for up to 2000 employees This role will focus on supporting our Region in Scotland. There is also a requirement to travel to Ireland to support our growth plans in those Areas. Agreement, communication, and delivery of the National and Regional Learning and Development Plans Ensuring that all training materials remain up-to-date, relevant, aligned to our market-leading product offering, and are inclusive for different learner needs Contributing and collaborating with the wider L&D team and Subject Matter Experts on material development projects. Championing and administrating our Learning Management System, ensuring optimum utilisation and 100% compliance completion Travel UK & ROI (Regionally, Raunds, Howden, Runcorn, and other regional, UK and non-UK venues) to meet the needs of the business What do I need to qualify for this Regional Learning Partner role? Breadth and depth of technical competency in the fields of facilitation, adult learning, and behavioural/cultural change. Proven experience in the delivery of in-person and virtual instructor-led learning. Knowledge of the latest learning practices, trends, and emerging thinking. Experience in positively incorporating diversity and inclusion into learning and development interventions and processes. Experience in using consultancy tools and techniques, for example, the use of SWOT, 5 Whys, weighted matrix etc providing costed recommendations and projected impact, return on investment, return of expectation. Experience in partnering with business and HR leaders to develop impactful learning plans that deliver a return on investment.
